D. Frazier is an artist working primarily in Traditional African Percussion, Electronic Music, Video, Graphic design, Animation and 3D production a native of Dallas, Tx, D. Frazier grew up around the influences of gospel music via his family,blues R&B ,Jazz and Hip Hop,He realized the sounds where echoes of Africa, Which led him to incorporate traditional African culture into his art Several master musicians from Africa and America noticed his keen interest in playing the traditional rhythms, and took him as an apprentice,Since D.Frazier has traveled To Europe and Africa,and Around The U.S. Teaching and Studying his Art Now he performs and teaches around the U.S. at College's ,Schools, Festivals ,Workshops, and Centers around Okc and Dallas. He is also the director over a Student Drum Ensemble called "Sankofa" which play traditional african rhythms, they are a sight to see , check them out in the Edutainment section, Other than continuing to teaching the art of rhythm, D.frazier plans to Travel West Africa, and other countries to further his studys.,He now Teaches @ a State University,Charter School,Speacial Events And Poetry Clubs, He recently held a Arts Camp ,Called Kuumba Arts Camp, along with The Kuumba arts Program
